After graduation I was employed as a set decorator in the Polish film industry (among others, in Pharaoh \u2013 a feature film directed by Jerzy Kawalerowicz). I was also working as a graphic designer. For the last thirty years I have been devoted solely to paining. There are three artistic periods in my work:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zoomism<\/strong><br \/>\nPaintings from this period focus upon one point, leaving the remaining ones in an impressionistic fogginess, which results in a unique, one of a kind play of light and colours resembling the effect of the use of zoom in a camera. French art critics named this new style \u201czoomism\u201d.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract painting<\/strong><br \/>\nThis period differs from zoomism mainly in the broader and bolder use of contrast of colour and form. The paintings are more graphic-like and technical, they build up series of associations. I use various painting techniques, from a slight deformation to a full abstract painting. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Thematic cycles<\/strong><br \/>\nDrawing from my earlier experience, I look for order in art, as well as for sublimated aesthetic impressions, striving for harmony and the perfection of  juxtapositions. Radical contrasts interlace with a subtle diffusion of colours, resulting in the creation of paintings which are full of light, colour and space. <\/p>\n<p>My works were presented at individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. They decorate the interiors of numerous embassies, banks, companies, lawyer&#8217;s offices, trade offices, representations and financial institutions. They are also in private collections in Great Britain, Italy, France, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Japan.
